Nestled in the woods about 10 miles south of Lake Ontario in the small town of Palermo, New York you will find beautiful maple woodlands, Red Schoolhouse Maple and the home of the Enders Family.  We started making maple syrup the old fashioned way…with buckets and spiles.

As true lovers of the outdoors we have a great appreciation for the wonderful bounties that the woods and land provide.  We found a fantastic selection of berries and a wide variety of edible mushrooms, wild leeks and other gourmet delicacies.  It was only natural that we would discover another gift of nature.  Pure Maple Syrup. Maple Syrup is made by boiling the sap of the maple tree down until the sugar content is concentrated enough to change the watery sap into a golden syrup.

We fully support the farm to table movement and for us, at Red Schoolhouse Maple, it's all about the food.  We are continually experimenting and developing new ways to enjoy this all natural product and we look forward to sharing that with you.  If you are looking for a new Maple experience stop by and check us out!
